Not Playing With A Full Deck

No one likes playing solitaire with a less-than-full deck. One would expect the computerized versions to be immune to lost cards, but, as I'm killing 5 minutes before my next appointment my phone apparently lost the 8 of Spades! Seriously, all the cards were uncovered, the deck all drawn & played, and only one black 8. Weird. Maybe the kid shook it out of my phone while she was playing with it the other day, but seriously, has anyone ever heard of such a thing?
